This is a Nichols Model 300 cap firing rifle manufactured by Nichols Industries, Inc of Jacksonville, Texas.
This cap rifle uses the large Nichols 45 2 piece bullets if you want to fire caps. The cap gun cycles fine, the hammer stays back until you pull the trigger to fire the cap gun. It is a single shot rifle. The ejector has two positions, which you select with the side lever. One for regular ejection, and one for super ejection. The cap gun has minor cosmetic repair on the front of the back stock as noted on the photos. There is some minor playwear to the finish, but overall looks great. the cap rifle is 28″ long.
