This rare Minty unplayed with Stallion 41-40 Cap Gun measures 10″ in length. The finish on this cap gun is in minty condition. The scroll work on the barrel is clearly an outstanding part and you will see the Stallion 41-40 imbedded in the barrel.. The cap gun has the swing out cylinder with the push ejector to push out all six bullets at once. How cool is that? The Ivory colored grips which I believe to be outstanding are in great shape. If you are the purchaser of this item, you will find yourself the owner of a great part of the Nichols cap gun history.
The cylinder rotates when you pull the trigger and the hammer fires as it is suppose to or you can pull the hammer back to rotate the cylinder.
The cylinder is very clean . The lever to release the cylinder works as it should. This cap gun uses the six -two piece Nichols bullets that are included with round caps. Need caps? They are available on this website. The bullets have never been cap fired. The original box is in good condition and completes the set.
